Prepare yourself - we are going to tell you what giosg’s marketing team does. We have a lot on our plate so this might take a while. We aim to create awareness about giosg, generate leads for our sales and co-operate actively with all our other units like customer engagement, marketing, HR... you name it! Our weeks are filled with content, inbound and event marketing as well as creating interesting case studies, blog posts and whitepapers.
What makes our team special is that we have professionals across borders, in Finland, The UK and Sweden. Everyone has their own area of expertise; we have our local marketing managers and coordinators who produce excellent content to keep things rolling smoothly. Not to forget our designer Minna who prepares the visuals for all marketing materials.
Here is a short introduction to a few of us, to give you some insight into who we are: Our Marketing Coordinator Kimi is known for his weird, yet funny one liners which usually come up in very random situations. After you have worked at giosg for a while, you’ll also notice that Minna has a twisted sense of humour. We also have a dog lady in the house - Our Marketing Manager Linda sometimes brings her dog Coco for visit to our Helsinki office.
What’s it like to work in marketing at giosg then? Although we have a clear marketing plan, there's still freedom to try new things and everyone can openly share their ideas - the crazier the better! We have a low hierarchy and the communication works across borders. Our motto is “solutions instead of problems” or as Linda likes to put it “don’t hate, participate.” This is how we get things done and create out-of-the-box type of solutions!
